Please join us on Sunday 13th August, at the next Waratah Park bushcare day, starting at 9am at 13 Namba Rd Duffys Forest. Any help that you can give would be highly valued, even just an hour or two!
The previous event was a huge success – National Tree Day on July 30th. Twenty-five volunteers planted 300 local and indigenous tubestock plants. In just under 4 hours all the tubestock were planted, watered and mulched, and guards were placed around each. It was great to see some new faces amongst the usual happy band of volunteers. A special thank you to Marina at Harvest Seeds & Native Plants, 281 Mona Vale Road Terrey Hills, who donated the 300 plants. On August 13th, in addition to removing weeds and debris, the new tubestock will be watered.
