Waratah Park bushcare, Sunday 10th September, 9am
The event on August 13th was very satisfying and successful, expunging nasty weeds like whisky grass, crofton, biden and cassia. And watering the hundreds of tubestock planted by 25 volunteers in late July on National Tree Day. and making a few essential repairs to the Ranger HQ. The local Duffys Forest Rural Fire Brigade, and colleagues from Terrey Hills and Cottage Point Brigades burnt 7 large piles of wood on September 3rd. So the Park is looking in good shape! Several of our helpers are from Hornsby Bushcare, and it would be great to match them with volunteers from the local community.
