WARATAH PARK SUNDAY,1ST DECEMBER,2013!!

17 volunteers continued the wonderful work at Waratah Park.
The growing conditions over the last month have been fabulous. The grass areas in the park also the weeds have shown remarkable growth!
 Thank you 1st December

Areas along the driveway to be mown this Sunday!!

Terrific work by Michael and Danny our mowing team to get the grass mown and back under control.

Thank you 1st December

The eastern fence being cleared from invasive weeds such as lantana, crofton, cassia and thistle.

The eastern fence weed clearing team on the day is Peter,David,Ian D,Ian Mac,Aaron,Terry,Luke and Brett G.
Progress continues with a connection to the southern fence area which is now only 10 metres away!
Waratah Park will now become a safer and hopefully less weedy area with this break in place!

Jenny,Mandy,Stephen,Naomi,David H,Fiona,Shani and Shane continued the weed removal and cleaning up of various parts of the park such as the picnic area, around the dam and at the top of the old dam area in the degraded area.
Another great effort by all the volunteers on the day had the park looking alot tidier and maintained.

Kind Regards
Peter Staff
