How to get to Waratah Park

Directions to Waratah Park!!

Address:13 Namba Road,Duffys Forest NSW 2084.

 

1. From Willoughby to Waratah Park:Drive north on the Pacific Highway from St Leonards Railway Station all the way to you get to Gordon then turn right onto Mona Vale Road (intersection with Pacific Highway) stay on this road through Pymble and St Ives Shopping Centre after about 5 kms you will see St Ives showground on the left keep going on Mona Vale Road straight through to the set of lights at the turn off to Belrose.Then you will see 3 nurseries on the left hand side of the road.You will come to a set of lights turn to the left (Mc Carrs Creek Road turn off) DO NOT GO DOWN THIS ROAD!!Then left again at the roundabout you will enter Terrey hills Shopping Centre follow the road you are on which is Booralie Road stay on this road for about 5 kms go past the farms,Terrey Hills Golf Club(On the right) and the Gun Club which is on your left.There is a fork in the road at Rho-ker Reserve and the Bus Shed is on the right hand side of the road.Go to left along Thuddungra Road until you see the turn off to Namba Road turn right and follow it all the way down then you will be at the gates of Waratah Park.Please follow the road in until you get to the car park use caution as there may be native animals on the road .Please park your cars and vehicles here.Then follow the road on the right hand of the round house until you get to the Waratah Park Volunteers Headquarters about a 100 metres walk from the car park.This located on the right hand side of Waratah Park Ranger Headquarters!!

2.From Willoughby to Waratah Park:Drive on Eastern Valley Way from Willoughby north to you get to Boundary Road turn off go left then right turn into the Archbold Road the stay on this road  which becomes Easrern Arterial Road going through suburbs such as Roseville,Lindfield, Killara and St Ives.You will continue with the traffic onto Horace Street then a set of lights which connects you with Mona Vale Road turn right from Horace street on to Mona Vale Road then see 1.

OR

3. From Newcastle,Gosford or Berowra:Coming from the north along either Pacific Highway or F3 at Wahroonga you will need to travel along the Pacific Highway from  suburbs such as Wahroonga,Warrawee,Turramurra and Pymble until you get the major intersection of the Pacific Highway and Mona Vale Road at Gordon/Pymble turn to the left and you will be on Mona Vale Road then follow directions on 1.

OR

4.From Blue Mountains to Waratah Park:Get on the M7 Western Link go all the way to the exit at Baulkham Hills.Get on windsor road travel north then on to old northern Road  until you get to the intersection with Castle Hill Road at West Pennant Hills which turns to the right follow the road until you get to Thompsons Corner at West Pennant Hills then left onto Pennant Hills Road follow the road north until you get to Pearces Corner at Wahroonga the turn right at the set of lights which will put you on the Pacific highway follow this highway past Wahroonga,Warrawee,Turramurra until you get to the intersection that turns right onto Mona Vale Road then follow 1.
