The start of another great day at Waratah Park!!The dam area in the middle of the park.
On Sunday 13th October,2013,18 very hard working Volunteers continued the fabulous work with in Waratah Park!!Tasks such as weed removal and eradication,cleaning up,lawn mowing,log cutting & stacking,clearing areas of debris and general maintenance in main areas of the park!! Even small and time consuming jobs were completed on the day such as hand weeding in various important areas!!
Bryan hand weeding in this important area and bio diversity of the park!! A specialized task with great skill and plant knowledge required!! Within this small area 20 plus different plant species can be found!! Some weeds and some are not!!

A big thank you to all volunteers on the the day for coming out to the park in such trying and unpleasant weather but the day was a success and your help is very much appreciated!!!

Report from the Chainsawing/Tree removal/Scene reconstruction team!!
On Sunday 13th October,2013 our new chainsaw/tree removal/scene reconstruction team made up of Shane and Martyn did a great job in removal of more Pittosprums trees and cutting up more log!!! .
