The next Waratah Park bushcare morning is on this Sunday, 5th November, starting at 9am at 13 Namba Rd Duffys Forest. Come and join us, even if only for an hour or two.
The last bushcare morning in October was highly productive. The volunteers mulched around the Ranger Headquarters garden beds, pulled out a large number of bags of fish bone ferns and crofton weed in the picnic area, picked up sticks and branches on the grass areas of the park, stacked logs and wood on to 2 burn piles, chainsawed many logs in the middle of the park. and mowed most grass areas of the park, partly to reduce the bidens growth.
Whether you can make it on November 5th or not, please mark your calendar with the bushcare morning that follows, December 3rd.
